Germany Schwan-Stabilo group outdoor business head, has been in Gore-Tex, HellyHanson and Adidas and many other outdoor sports companies as an important position, currently leading the development of Deuter, Ortovox, MaierSport and Gonso brands, and more in the future.

Deuter has entered the Chinese market since 2007. So far, it has been developing steadily for about 8 years, and its sales volume has increased by more than 3 times.

When Xiaobian asked about Deuter's expectations in the Chinese market, Martin said he hoped to stay in the top three of the professional outdoor backpack market.

It is a German family Private Held Company with a history of more than 160 years. The world's largest stationery and cosmetic pencil company, the world's largest fluorescent pen manufacturer, has earned about 560 million euros in the last fiscal year.

Martin said that the main business of Schwan-STABILO is now divided into three parts: makeup pen business, stationery business and outdoor business.

The cosmetic pen still occupies nearly half of the country, and outdoors is the biggest part of the company's growth potential.

In 2006, Schwan-Stabilo group held an outdoor backpacker brand Deuter, becoming its outdoor brand. In the past 10 years, it has acquired mountaineering safety equipment.

Outdoor clothing brand

Ortovox and MaierSport, in July, Martin said they had completed the acquisition of Maier Sports for skiwear and sportswear manufacturers. The group will continue to supplement the outdoor products industry chain in the future.

Outdoor business has been developing rapidly in recent years, and has reached 97 million 400 thousand euros in fiscal year 2014, accounting for 17.4% of the total revenue of the group.

For Deuter, Martin, a century old knapsack brand, said that since joining the Stabilo family, the competitive advantage of Deuter has been further developed, and its market share has continued to grow. The outdoor backpack market share in Switzerland and Austria has reached 42% and 26% respectively. The domestic market in Germany is as high as 41%, and Russia is also unbelievably 56%.

The United States, Australia, Japan, South Korea, China and so on are all the overseas markets that Deuter focuses on developing now and in the future. We should increase investment support for these new markets, and combine local specific cultural atmosphere to develop and innovate our products.

Deuter the number of knapsack around the world is about 2 million 500 thousand a year, and about 3 million of the accessories are included.
